This past Tuesday Max and Lucas geared up for their 25th/26th and 3rd/4th flights respectively. Around noon we left Texas for (hopefully!) the last time and headed out to our soon to be home state of Alabama. With a short layover in Atlanta our trip went flawlessly. The boys were on their best behaviour and a short 5 hours later we landed in Dothan, Alabama where we were greeted by MiMi, Uncle Zachy, and Auntie Liv. Max saw them standing outside as we were taxiing to the gate and thought it was so "spannend"(exciting) to see everyone.
After getting things sorted out with our rental car, we headed to our "new" home which is a lovely 3 bedroom townhome. Much better than the small, old apartment that we stayed at in Texas! The past few days have been busy visiting Max's new school, my university, looking for houses, and going to Atlanta to see Gigi, Papa Randy and the Georgia State Aquarium. (More on those exciting things later!)
