The Austin Children's Museum

The best part about being a parent is being able to act like a kid again. So yesterday when the weather wasn't looking too promising, we loaded the kids in the car and drove down to Austin to check out the children's museum.

Max sang "We zijn er bijna..." (are we there yet) and drove us a bit batty with his neverending stories the entire way to Austin. Needless to say we were all quite excited to be out of the car to let Max release some of his energy!

The museum was filled with hands-on activities. Max's favorite was, of course, the train station and the wooden train area!

Max got to be a bus chauffer

We had to pull Max away from the trains so he could see all of the other exhibits!

The power of air!

Our very talented son is also an excellent cook!

My absolute favorite picture of Rob and Lucas

Max the Builder was a bit tired of smiling for my camera at the end of the day!

After a fun-filled day Rob and I enjoyed a peaceful ride home with two sleeping boys in the backseat!
