The Efteling!

Wednesday morning Max and I went on a big adventure to the Efteling. Once we got there we met up with Aunt Imke, Noud, Fien, Aunt Esther, Thijs, Casper, Joost, and Oma. Before we even made it into the gates we had two kids screaming about getting sunscreen put on, one child screaming because Bambi was taken away, and one child crying because he fell on the ground. But that didn't stop us from determining to have a pleasant day!

Even though it was exhausting chasing after six children under 5, everyone had a great time. Max's favorite was (of course) the steam engine train that goes around the whole park. He was quite disappointed that he couldn't go on the big roller coasters, but was thankfully also satisfied with the children's roller coaster & cars instead. After a fun, but very long, day under the hot sun we headed out to the dunes to eat pannenkoeken, or dutch pancakes. Even though we won't get to participate in the yearly Efteling trip next year, I'm glad we could make lots of fun memories to take with us!
